What figures and formula does the tool use?
Formula: monthly minimum in PHP × complete months = estimated basic wage budget in PHP. Increase = current monthly minimum minus previous monthly minimum, multiplied by complete months. NCR for two months is ₱15,600, an increase of ₱1,600 over the previous rate. Do not use current rates to calculate historical back pay across effective dates.

Frequently asked questions
What monthly wage figures does this calculator use?
It uses the NWPC minimum of ₱7,800 for NCR from 7 February 2026 and ₱7,500 for CALABARZON from 26 October 2026. The previous rates were ₱7,000 and ₱6,750 respectively. Sources were accessed on 2 November 2026.
How is the wage budget estimated?
Multiply the selected monthly minimum in Philippine pesos by your number of complete months. Multiply the current monthly minimum minus the previous rate by the same number of months to estimate the increase. Each estimate assumes the selected current rate remains unchanged throughout those months.
Does the estimate include benefits or historical back pay?
No. It covers basic cash wages only. It excludes contributions, 13th-month pay, food, lodging and other costs. It does not prorate partial months or calculate historical back pay across wage-order dates. Minimum wages are legal floors, not measured market salaries.
